DEFINITION
MG996R 180' Servo Motor A small rotary actuator or motor that provides precise control in angular position, MG996R servo motor can rotate from 0° to 180°, operating voltage is between 4.8 and 6 V DC. It can be controlled by sending the PWM signals to the Orange colored cable and feeding the motor with +5V by using the Red and Brown wires for the servo motor to rotate. In order to control the servo motor, you may need a ready-made PWM control card that can generate PWM signals, or you can control it using Arduino, STM, ARM, ESP, or even Raspberry Pi platforms.
